No Pictures

Well I left Edna the other day without the camera. I forgot to write it down on the list of things to bring back to College Station with me. So we love the new house! It is amazing and pretty much all set up. I only have about 5 more boxes to unpack which I will tackle tomorrow when I am back home.

I am still working in College Station through August 14 then will be on vacation through August 31 when I will officially resign as the Extension Associate for Veterinary Medicine. It is a sad time, but there is always a new adventure that I am willing to tackle.

Allie and Howdy are having a blast living at the park. There are lots of squirrels, birds and deer that they think need to be herded. We try and keep them quiet as much as possible all is good.

I will try and post pictures either tomorrow or Friday.

Moving

We we found out yesterday that Jacob's official start date at Lake Texana State Park and the new Assistant Park Superintendent/Park Police Officer is today. He has already packed up his apartment in Calliham and is here in College Station. We will be moving on Saturday and Sunday. We are so excited. I will post pictures later about the move and stuff. At least we are not going to have to worry about our stuff getting rained on. It is only supposed to be 101 this weekend :)

Kay Funke

Well Craig and Rose welcomed Ms. Kay Funke into the world today at 11:16 AM. She weighed in at 6 lb 4 oz and is 20.5 inches long. Everyone (mom, dad and Kay) are all doing well. I went down to San Antonio this morning to be there with them. We are all so excited and happy for them. All I will say is thank you God for blessing them with this miracle.

Here are just a few of the pictures. Craig took lots more but Aunt Angie was so excited she forgot she had her camera (oops). Rose's sister Anna was there along her her brother Joe. Craig's parents, Fred and Opal were there as well. We had a couple of hours to sit and visit before we got the word that she was here. She is beautiful and we are so excited and happy for the new mom and dad.

Rose is a real trouper. She did great!

Proud daddy! What a wonderful gift right before Father's Day.

Our new house

Front of the house

Well we got to go and see our new house on Thursday. It is great! The house is on about 2 acres of land that has a ton of trees and has lake access. We are waiting for them to schedule Jacob's physical eval and psych exam and then 15 days after that we will know when we get to move. I am boxing things up so when it is time we can just load and go. I have attached several pictures so enjoy. We will be having a party sometime in October and have everyone out to the park to see the house.

Logan

Well Logan and I are having a blast. We played cars last night and started reading our book about dinosaurs. Tonight he has gymnastics and then we are going to Chick-fil-A for dinner. I am not sure what we will be doing this weekend. It is hard to believe that he is going to be 4 this next month. I went to Wal-Mart this morning and bought Mary Poppins because he has never watched this classic movie. Tomorrow may be a movie night......... We will have to see. Hope that everyone is doing well.

Thank You God

Well we found out today that Jacob got the job at Lake Texana State Park (in Edna which is around Victoria) as the new Assistant Superintendent/Park Police Officer. He is still filling out paper work for the law enforcement side of things. We are unsure of his start date because he has to go through a through background check, psychological evaluation and physical agility test. It will take at least a month to get all of this done so we are thinking possibly June 1 start date.

I will continue with my job for right now. There is a science teacher position at Edna High School that I will be applying for. I am also in the process of filling out a fellowship application for my PhD. So pray that things work out on this end as well.
